Nook Rechargeable Battery
When the battery that comes with your Nook finally starts performing bad (all rechargeable batteries do eventually), you might want to replace it with an original Barnes & Noble battery. Others might work as well, but better to be safe than sorry, especially when we’re talking about a small sum like this (it will cost you $29.95).
The battery comes with a Philips screwdriver that allows you to change the battery yourself, no need to send it to a service center (as with some other ereaders on the market). The battery is identical with the battery that came with your Nook and it lasts about 10 days on a single charge.
This might also be an option as a backup battery if you’re going somewhere where you can’t recharge the battery included, just remember to charge this one before leaving.
